NOTE: If you don't know what a .pdf file is you should probably use the .html versions.

You are probably thinking.... What does this mean to me?

Simply this:

If you have taken any of the classes on the list and passed - you meet the Computer Literacy Graduation Requirement. Congratulations!

If you have not taken and passed one of the classes on the list - you need to pass a Computer Literacy Test in order to graduate.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Passing the Computer Literacy Test does not give you any credits, it merely satisfies the graduation requirement.

You must bring three things with you to be able to take the test:

1. A COMPUTER LITERACY CRITERIA CHECKLIST from your counselor. It looks like this.

2. Your current Bell High School ID card with Internet sticker.

3. Your password.

Click here for answers to questions about passwords and ID cards.

These are things you must be able to do to pass the test:

1. Save a document into your traveling folder.

2. Type, proofread and correct sentences in a word processing document.

(Microsoft Word or AppleWorks)

3. Adjust margins, alignment, change type styles, adjust type size, use bold, italicize and underline, etc..

4. Find information and images on the Internet and copy them into a word processing document.

If you have any doubts about your ability to do all the things on this list come to ROOM S-4 for review and tutoring on one or more of the dates and times above.
