Fire Drill Procedure

The signal for a Fire drill will be continuous bells of 10 seconds followed by a bell of 5 seconds.

Upon the bell signal, evacuate to outside assembly area nearest to your room location (see map in your classroom), using the prescribed routes or other safe routes.

Bring your rollbook with you and take attendance again to account for all bodies. Report any missing students on your “Drill / Emergency Status Report form” and return to the Deans Office or Ms. Ledbetter’s mailbox.

Wait for the all clear bell signal and escort students back into the building / class.
