  1. Assemble on the field in your designated location, stay with your class. Maintain some separation from classes around you.

  1. Call the roll, marking who is present with some sort of check mark. Please fill out the Emergency Evacuation Report given to you by the Leadership student. All rosters and Emergency Evacuation Reports are to be picked up and taken to the Incident Command Center (ICC) by Leadership students.

  1. Check the students again for injuries. Get injured to First Aid Station via able-bodied students.

  1. Have students relax, sit down, lie down on the grass if they wish; but keep them together; no wondering around on the field. Periodically call roll. No Radios!

  1. A P.A. System is available and operational for this drill. Please have your class listen carefully for names and instructions.

  1. The nurse will be on duty in the First Aid Station located in the Downstairs Gym- Large Gym.

  1. If a real earthquake should occur while students are not in class, such as nutrition or lunch, students are to report to the football field and assemble in homeroom groupings.

  1. Emergency directions for your room should be posted in your room. Each one will be specially marked for the specific room. Do not remove them.

  1. Buddy System.

Every teacher should briefly check (about a half a minute total time) with the teacher in the classroom to the left, to the right and across the hall, to see if they are in need. This may include and not limited to taking of a homeroom while the teacher assists in the duties assigned to them in the ICC. If not, then move out with your class to the assembly area.

If immediate help can be given in a moment, to help get a doctor open or aid some wounded, do so; but if assistance will take some time, first get your own students out to the field, and there advise the Incident Command Center of the other teacherÕs situation. Assistance can then be sent.
