10TH GRADE CAHSEE PARENT/STUDENT MEETING

TRACK C GOLDEN EAGLES
If you are Track C and a Golden Eagle, you will receive your Golden Eagle ID in Homeroom this week. You are then entitled to an early nutrition on Fridays. On Fridays, check in with Homeroom. Take care of business, show your teacher your GE ID, then report to me in the Cafeteria. The GE ID must be used in conjunction with your official school ID! Congratulation.

CAREER PATHWAY OF THE MONTH
This month’s Career Pathway of the Month is Public Services. There are a huge number of careers along this pathway, but they all start with three different branches: Human Services, Legal and Government Services and Protective Services. (R. VILLAGRAN)

Are you interested in a career in the medical field? Los Angeles Pediatric Society offers a 3 or 4 week summer medical mentor program beginning July 2012. Students will be under the supervision of a health care educator, and shadowing medical professionals at local hospitals. Attention seniors,! There is a $1,500 scholarship available for students who are applying to CSU Fullerton for Fall 2012. Applicants must be a first time freshmen student with a GPA of al least 2.05, and have significant contribution to school and/or community. Attention all students! Would you be interested in earning college credit while still in high school? Bell HS, in collaboration with East Los Angeles College, will be offering a Psychology and an Administration of Justice class. This can be a great opportunity for you to start your college education early.
